Dear Friends of the Historical Society of Elba,
First, thank you to Virginia Kropf for interviewing Gary Harkness about his collection of vintage glass that was on display at the Museum on October 19. We had a wonderful response of visitors.
We would also like to thank her for her write-up on the Barn Dance on October 11. It was well attended, in part, because of her description of what would be going on; primarily dancing, good music, and good food. Thank you John Torrey for the use of the barn. Lorie Lanie of Kent was the winner of the Lottery tickets, drawn at the Barn Dance. See you next year!!
Thanks to all the sponsors of the Barn Dance and the Basket Raffle (that was held at the roast beef dinner) who donated gift certificates, produce, baskets of goodies, etc. Thank you to all the members and non-members who came to help. Thank you for all the hard work helping with the raffle, for help prepare food, cutting pies, washing dishes, parking cars, selling tickets and all the other jobs that go to make an event successful. It couldn’t be done without all that extra help.
The Historical Society of Elba
Thank you to all of the generous sponsors who donated to make our Barn Dance a success.
