The next meeting of the Historical Society will take place on Thursday, April 9 at the Elba Fire Dept. / Village office beginning at 7:00 pm.

ELBA – The public is invited to attend the April 9 meeting of the Elba Historical Society for a special presentation by the Daughters of the American Civil War.
The meeting is free and begins a 7 p.m., when the Daughters will present the surrender at Appomattox. The regular business meeting will follow, and guests are free to stay or may leave after program.
The Elba Historical Society Museum is located on Maple Avenue Extension.
Society officers, president Earl Roth, vice president Louis Esten, secretary Irene Griffith-Pierce and treasurer Amy Vlack, welcome visitors and encourage anyone to consider becoming a member.
